30 Day Writing Challenge (Day 9)

Day 9: Post some words of wisdom that speak to you.

“Let people be wrong about you.”

“Have fun, even if it’s not the same kind of fun everyone else is having.” -C.S. Lewis
“DIONYSUS: Your anger walks too heavily. Tread lightly here.”
-Euripides, tr. by P.T. Stevens, from Plays of Euripides; “The Bacchae,”
“Just remember that sometimes, the way you think about a person isn’t the way they actually are.” -John Green
“Stay close to anything that makes you glad that you’re alive.” -Hafiz

I want to help children find autonomy, teenagers find themselves, and adults find compassion through the written word. I hold a B.A. in Creative writing and a dream of seeing my name on a book cover one day.
